Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies like local storage and pixels. Together they help the site work, remember your preferences, and help us understand how Melern is used.
Representative examples (the live product's list may vary):
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| mln_session | Keeps you signed in | Necessary | Session |
| mln_csrf | Security / form protection | Necessary | Session |
| mln_prefs | Theme & accessibility settings | Preferences | 12 months |
| mln_consent | Stores your cookie choices | Necessary | 12 months |
| _mln_analytics | Aggregated usage stats | Analytics | 13 months |
When you first visit, our consent banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice anytime via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer (in the live product). Strictly necessary cookies don't require consent because the Service can't function without them.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works. Helpful guides exist for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge in each browser's help center.
We'll update this page if our use of cookies changes, with a new "Last updated" date.
